Mapping your goals.

It’s reasonable – and totally normal – to be caught in the here and now. To be preoccupied with your next promotion, or to try and find a role which fits with everyone else’s needs and timetables.

But wait. Before you before you start scanning the job ads, it’s worth taking the time to really examine your future goals. To think about where you want to be in ten or fifteen years. Because every plan you make, every job you deliver, should be part of a plan to get you where you want to be.

This session is about reconnecting with the plans and ambitions with which you entered adulthood - long-term goals unfettered by the constraints of real life (mortgages and kids and bills and so on) and born of passion. And to examine what really drives you, to look for themes around purpose and vision. To visualise the future you really want.

These plans may not feel easy, or even possible right now – but that isn’t really the point. It’s about taking the time to move away from well-rehearsed thought-patterns and really question what you really want to do. About placing a value on what you want and need. And then making a plan to get there.

This session combines imaginative thinking and practical action and strategising.
